The Acapulco Music Festival

The Acapulco Music Festival ("Acapulco Fest" or "Acafest" for short) is held annually in May at the Convention Center in Acapulco. It is a huge event lasting a whole week and features dozens of famous Latin artists. There are two separate events/stages going on concurrently - each with its own admission (a schedule for 2004 is shown below).

Traffic is crazy during the festival. Plan on it taking an extra hour to get anywhere at night.

Acafest 2005 Dates

The dates for Acafest 2005 are May 14 through May 21. We do not have a schedule.

The schedule below is subject to change. You can buy tickets at the gate. One-day tickets for "Salon Teotihuacan" are: 55 pesos (general), 110 pesos (silver), or 220 pesos (gold). One-day tickets for "Jardin Sur" are 80 pesos (100 pesos on Tuesday).
