Cozumel, Mexico
|
|
Cozumel is Mexico's largest island and is located 12 miles off the coast of the
Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Ocean. It is not too far from
Cancun and is across the water from Playa del Carmen. Jacques Cousteau helped to make the city
famous by drawing international attention to the island. Cozumel is paradise for scuba divers, who will enjoy the island's
magnificent reefs with abundant marine life and beautiful beaches. If you are not trained in scuba diving, you can
either take lessons or simply go snorkeling. I had a neighbor who took annual trips to Cozumel and always had a good time.
It can be a more relaxing vacation than other top resort cities.
