The Acapulco Celebrity Interviews
When you visit Acapulco, you will most likely encounter one or more of the people that I will be interviewing in the
"celebrity interviews" series. Acapulco has quite a few intriguing personalities and local celebrities that you will
run into at the clubs, at special events, or just walking on the street. I thought that it might be interesting to get a
glimpse behind the scenes and into the minds of the real people behind these characters.
This is my favorite part of the website, so check back soon for more interviews. If you have
a recommendation for a future interview, feel free to contact me from this site.

Silver Man: I was happy when Benji agreed to be my first interview.
His character, known as "The Silver Man" or "El Azteca", symbolizes Acapulco in many ways - the excitement, the
nightlife, the music and dancing, the heat, and the blend of traditional Mexican culture with the ultra-modern.
We met at Palladium and did the interview backstage while he was getting ready for his show. I wasn't sure what to expect,
because his stage character is quite intimidating, but I found him to be one of the most down-to-earth and real people
I have met in Acapulco, though he did sort of freak me out when he painted his eyeballs silver. . .
Additional information about the original El Azteca.
