Avalon Excalibur Acapulco is located toward the west end of the Golden Zone, near the La Gran Plaza shopping mall.
Of the hotels receiving a four star rating from the Mexican government, it is a solid choice for families, couples,
and singles. You can choose from rooms with views of the ocean or the mountains to the west (think "sunset").
Since it is situated on the west end of the Golden Zone, you also have a relatively short trip to the historic section
